About

L&K Acres

At L&K Acres, our mission is rooted in compassion, healing, and a deep connection to both animals and people. Founded by Kimberly Echtle, this space was created from a lifelong passion for rehabilitating animals and supporting others through meaningful, therapeutic experiences.

L&K Acres is home to three horses, three dogs, and two cats—with plans to welcome two Highland cows in the near future. Each animal plays a role in creating a calm, nurturing environment where both people and animals can thrive together.

With a professional background in the mental health field, Kim understands the powerful bond between humans and animals and how that connection can foster healing, growth, and peace. This passion extends beyond people to animals in need—providing care, rehabilitation, and a second chance at a better life.

Whether working with individuals or caring for animals, Kim’s  goal is simple: to create a place where healing happens naturally—through trust, patience, and the beauty of the human-animal connection.

ABOUT TALLEY & REIN

Talley is a sweet and steady girl who is so calm and loves all the attention she can get. She loves to be talked to and loves treats. To the left is Rein. She is my daughter’s barrell competition horse. She is on the Timmermann’s Speed team and loves her baby so much.
